Multnomah Athletic Club was founded in 1891 and today serves 22,000 members. The clubhouse occupies 600,000 square feet of space along historic Salmon Street in downtown Portland, and overlooks Providence Park.

Facility
The eight-level main clubhouse is within walking distance of downtown Portland. Covered parking for more than 600 cars is provided across the street in the club's garage.
MAC houses multiple restaurants, swimming pools, tennis, racquetball, handball and squash courts, exercise studios, a weight and conditioning room, and a diverse range of ballrooms, banquet facilities, and private meeting rooms.
Activities are offered for men and women of all ages. Short-term child care is available while parents use the club. Top-rated instruction and coaching is available in many sports.
The clubhouse is also host to a variety of local, regional and national sporting competitions throughout the year and has been a venue for international championships on more than one occasion.
